The mighty Briksdalsbreen glacier is part of Jostedalsbreen National Park. from an altitude of 1200 meters, the wild glacier falls completely into the lush, tronge Briksdalen - a sight that attracts guests from all over the world every quarter of a year. Good food and drink, accommodation in a mountain hut, apartment or cabin, mountain hikes and a rich souvenir house give you good memories from Briksdalen.

The old shop at Hjelle is an old grocery store from 1882. Today there is a café selling English porcelain and local art and applied art. New beautiful surroundings with an atmosphere from days gone by.

Training and climbing.

Hakallegarden is the happy visitor farm from the children's TV series Marit og dyra on NRK Super. Here you can meet small and large animals strolling in the yard among the visitors

Hydlaparken is a climbing park that is nicely located in beautiful nature. Here you will find activities for young and old. In the area you will find, among other things, a great gapahuk for free use, playground for the little ones, bike path, and of course several climbing trails and zip-lines.

Jostedalsbreen is the largest glacier on the European mainland and the largest white spot you see on the map of Norway!

Feel free to visit the dairy, which is spectacularly and scenically located next to a secret waterfall surrounded by curious goats and sheep.

At the end of Lovatnet you will find Kjenndalstova surrounded by idyllic and wild nature.

In the middle of the activity village Loen, inst in the fjord between high mountains, we had to have something more. Something very special for our youngest guests: A small universe with nice challenges for both body and head. Perfect on gray days, and when the adults have had to decide the program a little too long.

The Norwegian Fjord Horse Center is the national competence center for Norway's national symbol - the Fjord Horse, and it is no coincidence that Nordfjordeid has been added.

The 1.5 km long sandy beach with its chalk-white shell beach is one of Norway's finest bathing beaches.

You will find us in the heart of Stryn center by Per Bolstad plass. Here we offer breakfast, lunch & dinner. Coffee is something we are passionate about, and we are proud ambassadors of Zoega´s coffee. In the evening we transform into an ever so small pub and when the weather allows it we become twice as big and offer food straight in from the grill. We rent out 5 rooms upstairs and our biggest wish is that you as a guest should feel welcome with us.

4 ski lifts

In Hoddevik, at the far end of Stad, you can hike barefoot on white sand, surrounded by high mountain sides. When you drive down the "hairpin bends" you have a fantastic view. Hoddevik is a favorite place for surfers from all over the world.
